Why we do what we do?
France is a country like no other, and it’s what inspired me, Daniel Brewer, founder of Healey Fox, to start the business. Over a decade ago, I wanted to share the magic of this place with others, so they too could enjoy its unique and rewarding lifestyle.
My love for France began with childhood camping holidays and grew during my studies in Provence and Clermont-Ferrand, where I truly immersed myself in the culture and way of life.
I still think back to simple but memorable moments — picking up fresh baguettes in the morning, walking through pine forests down to the Mediterranean, hearing cicadas along the way, enjoying crêpes in Saint-Malo, and sharing seafood feasts on the Atlantic coast. From exploring villages like Collioure, Pézenas and Uzès, to walking along the Dordogne river and even helping neighbours harvest cherries in Provence — these experiences continue to inspire me when helping our clients today.
