The village is known for being very peaceful and the house is quietly located, with a
neighbour only on one side. The village is a historic medieval “bastide” (a former fortified
hilltop village) with character features, a restaurant, well-known night markets in summer
and other activities available, and there is an excellent vegetable market on Wednesdays.
There are also good local shopping, markets and restaurants nearby. Despite its rural
setting, there are good transport connections, with Bergerac airport at 55 mins, Bordeaux
1.5 hours away and Toulouse 2 hours.
