Loire’s Wine Tasting Festival

One wine growing region of Loire will be having its own wine festival in Tours in the middle of March. 50 vineyards from Brigueil will arrive in the town to show some of its lesser known wines.

As with so many wine festivals the fun is to buy a wine tasting glass for a few euro which you then take to each stall to enjoy a taster. Thoughtfully these tasting glasses usually come with a cord so that you can hang them around your neck when not actively drinking.
